Current and former employees at New York state facilities were allegedly misclassified by UPS as salaried employees exempt from the overtime requirements of the federal Fair Labor Standards Act. A class action lawsuit has been filed claiming many of these employees have worked in excess of 40 hours per week and sometimes more than 60 hours per week without additional compensation.
