Led by plaintiff David Vespremi, former employees of Tesla Motors have filed a class action lawsuit claiming they were laid off in a company restructuring at the end of last year, violating their terms of employment.
The suit further claims that Tesla did not act in good faith and did not follow California labor laws.
Allegedly disparaging comments made by company executives about laid off employees have added libel and slander charges to the suit.
