A class action lawsuit has been filed against the hair salon chain for allegedly violating the civil rights of Hispanic employees. Former workers claimed the only language they were allowed to speak was English and a notice from the manager was posted prohibiting employees from speaking Spanish.

As a former employee of this Supercuts I would just like to give this place a -1 it is a very unprofessional place .where you see The manager and shift leaders talking about other employees on the floor in Spanish while there with customers.this place is super immature and needs a lot of work and the people above the management in the store are just as bad they don't take anything seriously I was harassed and discriminated against by customers for being gay A man was yelling at everyone in the salon and at me while we were with customers saying all these rude and negative comments and was harassing me calling me gay and that he was going to kick my ass and my manager just stood there and did nothing. I expressed my concern and nothing ever got done never in a place of work has this happened to me before. I am appalled that I worked here and I gave a year of my life to this place I work hard to keep my customers coming
back. Not only did I have much more experience than all of the girls in that salon I brought a lot of requests in and probably much more than the girls that I've been there three to plus years and I got paid the lease that's not OK. I never got any positive feedback from any of the management or the owners in that salon Instead I was always the one that they came to pick on for the pettiest things . I wasn't the perfect employee but no one there can ever say that I wasn't a great hairstylist I always gave my customers best haircut.to all The people that are interested in working here unless you want to be sucked into a dramatic workplace and hate your life every day I would recommend that you guys do not work here when the owner Molly says that we have to be afraid of her I mean that kind of says a lot about this franchise. You are only a salve to them and if you don't do that the will try to get rid of you .
