A $200 million dollar class action lawsuit has been filed against Sunnybrook hospital in Toronto, Ontario. The suit was filed on behalf of patients who ere treated with the use of equipment that had not been properly sterilized. The suit states that the hospital "breached its duty of care to protect the health" of the plaintiffs. The patients may have been exposed to infections while they underwent colon and throat tests. The suit seeks compensation for pain, suffering and loss of income for the victims.
