The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has ruled that a class action lawsuit filed against the US Mint will proceed. The suit was filed on behalf of 32 female employees who allege that they were subject to sexual discrimination. The suit claims that the plaintiffs were forced to work in an environment hostile toward women and that managers discriminate against them through unfair job assignments, promotions, discipline, terminations and sexual harassment.
