Several former and current employees have filed a class action lawsuit against the poultry company. The class is alleging unpaid overtime and violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act. Pilgrim's Pride employs 40,000 workers nation wide and allegedly avoided paying overtime to employees at all levels, including managers, supervisors, foremen and line workers.

I thought it was a law that you have to pay your employees overtime. I wonder why my husband can work overtime at Pilgrims Pride in Cumnock and he get paid regular 8 hours. When they have a vacation they don't pay them for that either just regular pay and then they have to always work on the following Saturday. They just get paid regular 8 hours,
