A class action lawsuit has been filed against Motorola, Inc. on behalf of customers who purchased Motorola cellular telephones with a two-prong charging port at any time from 2002 to the present. The class action suit alleges that the charging ports on the Motorola cell phones are defective, making contact between the charging port on the telephone and the charging unit extremely difficult or impossible after an unreasonably short period of time. According to the plaintiffs, the cellular telephone fails to properly charge the battery, eventually rendering the cellular telephone useless.
