A class action lawsuit has been filed against the Washington state Department of Licensing on behalf of Seattle drivers. The suit was filed over the car-tab tax for the Seattle monorail. The suit alleges that the system is unfair because it inflates car values beyond their Kelley Blue Book price or similar market price, which means that car owners receive a higher bill than expected.
