A class action lawsuit has been filed against the former Iraqi regime on behalf of about 220 American citizens who were beaten and Interrogated by Iraqi soldiers. The suit, which is filed in the US under the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act, seeks compensation for the victims and is trying to collect from the country's frozen funds, which are controlled by the Treasury.
