A class action lawsuit has been filed on behalf of New Jersey physicians against several auto insurance companies, including: ALTA Services, CHN, Allstate New Jersey, Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, Prudential Property and Casualty Insurance Company of New Jersey, Selective Insurance Company of America, State Farm Indemnity Company. The suit alleges that the companies did not properly compensate the doctors for care they provided to accident victims, claiming that they were paid less than what it cost them to treat the patients.
