A class action lawsuit has been filed against Bouchard Transportation on behalf of all residential property owners from Falmouth to Westport whose property was harmed during last year's oil spill in Buzzards Bay. The spill, which occurred in April 2003, involved 55,000 gallons of oil and polluted 100 miles of shoreline in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, killing 450 birds, and shutting down 90,000 acres of shellfishing grounds for months.
