A $42 million class action lawsuit has been filed against the Bank of Canada on behalf of members of the Bank of Canada Pensioners' Association. The suit alleges breach of trust and contract and claims that since at least 1993, the bank has been misusing their pension trust fund by requiring about $12 million in administration expenses to be paid out of the fund.
