i pay 1,100.29 a month and now they say that I can not go to my diabetic doctor whom I have been seeing for over 20 years claiming that he is out of network . And my local hospital is out of network also . Why is it that BCBS is the only insurance available in the county in which I live . I am going to lose my insurance because I cannot keep paying this robbery premium .

Watch out for Anthem Medi Blue Health Insurance. You pay in, and they cover nothing. Everything is Denied. Pre-approved procedures are denied. Chiropractic is denied. But they claim to cover chiropractic....Too bad. Denied. Appeal rejected.

Standard procedure colonoscopy ... finding:
polyps, removed while procedure was under way:
Billing was made by insurance company for surgical procedure when colonoscopy removal was supposed to be within the colonoscopy procedure.
Surgical billing would (supposedly by policy) be instigated upon a second procedure to remove polyps.

Bcbs has repeatedly refused to pay for certain medications and has required preauthorization which causes a 2 or 3 day delay in getting them. They also require that patients try other cheaper medications before they will pay for newer ones which costs more money for repeat trips to the doctor. They pick and choose what they pay for and even force patients to go to certain pharmacies to get they're meds. These people are not doctors and should not have any say in what medications someone should take, they take money from us every paycheck and fight to avoid letting us use the service they offer. Insurance is a scam and the people that run the companies are criminals.

I had Surgery at Multi care and Doctor Had to close me up and summons another Doctor to do the surgery cause it turned out to be something more extensive, Doctor Put in all the paperwork and everything was approved and all hospital stay approved for 1 day by Blue Cross Blue Shield when girlfriend brought to there attention that I had already paid my Deductible and all they seem to all the sudden go out of network with the hospital and Multi Care patients were left not knowing this had been billed for out of network even though the whole procedure was approved and Obama Care kicked in with no warning Blue cross blue shield waited 90 days before informing me that Multi Care had become out of Network which to me was a way to gain back the deductible money my girlfriend had brought to my and all the employee's at my work to file paperwork so we were not double billed for our Deductible I refuse to pay this bill due to my insurance company should of let me know that Multi Care was Gonna be out of Network and No one told me nothing of the sort My girlfriend was on the phone with them for over 3 months and then they tell her that they came out of network after 90 days they need to be held liable for trying to gain money in such a manner, Thought as your insurer that it was there place to go beyond and above to see you get what you have coming to you not stick you with owing money that could of been avoided if they were to let you know about the situation I have all my paperwork to prove it was all pre approved .
