A class action lawsuit has been filed against AT&T Wireless Services Inc. on behalf of hundreds of AT&T Wireless employees. The suit alleges that employees at the company's call center in Plano, Texas were regularly required to work more than 40 hours per week without being paid for overtime, which is a violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act. The plaintiff's attorneys believe that the violations at the Plano facility may also be occurring at other AT&T Wireless facilities around the country, stating "What we've seen here are low-level employees basically being forced to work off the clock so the company could reap bigger profits."
