AT&T Mobility



A class action lawsuit has been filed against the cellular carrier alleging unpaid overtime to corporate recruiters and coordinators. The lawsuit was filed in US District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and claims AT&T Mobility violated the Fair Labor Standards Act by refusing overtime pay to employees.

The class action claims AT&T failed authorize payment for all hours worked each work week, failed to keep accurate payroll records, and blatantly denied overtime pay to class members.The lawsuit is seeking back overtime pay and other compensation for employees, liquidated damages, prejudgment interest, attorneys' fees and other costs.

AT&T Mobility gets high marks from organized labor; the Communications Workers of America represents 40,000 AT&T Mobility workers, the largest number of unionized wireless employees of any carrier in the cellular industry.
