Allstate refuse to help me. I have rental insurance and i have mold in every vent in my house. My closest has mold in it and it was supposed to be fixed back in May. The problem is not fixed and the Manager sent out maintenance to inspect it and he stated that it is definitely mold. Please tell me what to do now!!

Tenant sprayed water on a wall inside home, and mold resulted in towel closet right next to where water was sprayed and contractor indicated 70% moisture contained in that particular wall (water in towell closet and subsequent mold also precipitated by busted pipe from adjoining water closeted that abuts the towel closet (where shower and bath fixtures emanate from). I have yet to file a claim with Allstate, but from what I'm reading, Allstate seems unwilling to help offset costs associated with mold remediation regardless of cause (mayhem, busted pipes). Is there a best way to approach Allstate so they do cover the cost of remediation (estimated at $2,200). Tenant claims sore on his leg is a result of the mold and that the hospital agrees with him, but at this point, I just want the mold remediated throughout the house ASAP.

I have this same issue with Allstate. I had a sudden intrusion on water and Allstate states they will not cover any damages or lawsuits. What is the outcome of the class action suit?

My condo unit was mold-infested to the point where I was forced to leave in June 2006 due to severe respiratory problems, as several doctors advised me to leave. I have been unable to return to my home due to the mold problem. I am 79 years old. Almost all of my personal property was destroyed by the mold, and it has been a catastrophic experience for me.
