Los Angeles, CA: A consumer fraud class action lawsuit has been certified against NaturalCare Inc. The lawsuit alleges the homeopathic product RingStop failed to treat ringing and buzzing in ears as advertised.
Specifically, the federal class action, entitled Alisa Neal v. NaturalCare Inc., Case No. 12-cv-00531, U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, is based on claims made by lead plaintiff Alisa Neal that RingStop does not treat tinnitus symptoms, including ear ringing, ear noise and sensitivity to sounds, as advertised. Neal purchased the homeopathic medicine in January 2012 based on NaturalCare' advertising claims.
Certified by US District Judge David O. Carter, the RingStop class action lawsuit includes any California resident who purchased RingStop either from a retail location or online at any time within the past four years. The lawsuit alleges violations of California' Consumer Legal Remedies Act, False Advertising Law and Unfair Competition Law. Plaintiffs are represented by Newport Trial Group.
