Madison County residents have filed a class action against the fiber optics networking company for trespassing. The Schillingers claim the Canadian business entered fast agreements with other companies that allowed them to install thousands of miles of fiber optic cable throughout right-of-way areas in the United States. Potential class members included hundreds of right-of-way land owners. Current plaintiffs are seeking punitive damages for fraud and intentional disregard of their rights. (Feb-28-05)
