Class action status is being sought in a lawsuit filed against Palm Beach elections supervisor Theresa LePore on behalf of blind voters. The suit alleges that LePore is in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act and the federal Rehabilitation Act for improperly training her poll workers to set up the audio ballots which would allow the plaintiffs to vote. The suit seeks an injunction to require LePore to adequately train her poll workers and stop the alleged discriminatory practices.
